Complete Multimedia Production, Service and Support

The foundation of experience in television show post-production, film trailers / TV spots, network television show promotion and motion graphics was cast back in the mid-1980's.

After becoming one of the original post production team members during the start-up year of the ground-breaking show Entertainment Tonight, Kirk Matkin ended his 8-year tenure there as a segment editor and moved into feature film promotion.

Building upon that foundation working for some of the largest trailer houses and most of the major film studios for more than a decade, he left Hollywood and started Matkin Design. The company began producing tv spots for shows from companies like Showtime and Paramount pictures out of a small, self-built edit facility. They also produced longform presentations, began doing motion graphics for live banquet shows while also expanding into the growing convergence of web with traditional audio / video media.

As the lines blur between web media and traditional audio / visual deliveries, Matkin Design is perfectly adapted to converge two decades of film and video experience with the past decade of web development.
